Yeah, glad you liked the photo. I thought about changing it up before I posted but it's much more fun having people try to figure out whose hands are whose. Thanks for your comment. Have a great day.

Thank you for sharing this. There are several practical pointers that I am tucking away.
Sidenote: do you realize the lady in the center of the photo has two hands holding her left arm? Better hope photoshopdisaster.com doesn't find that... :)

Just reading this was an inspiration. Often while friends, colleagues, family were off somewhere relaxing, having lunch, playing tennis, reading another's book, I was busy interviewing, typing, typing, interviewing, typing...you get the picture. It took three years (longer and more difficult than actual child bearing) but I did it. You must be so thrilled. I must get a copy when it is finally published. Your encouragement is a bless back, even to a stranger. My best...for BlessBack

Hi Julie -- Although I've sat through a lot of slush pile reads at conferences, this is the first year I had the guts to submit the first page of a manuscript. Unfortunately, they didn't get to mine....but I think I could have handled any kind of criticism....I hope....because the whole point is to get expert feedback to help me become a better writer. HehHeh...Right!

Great summary Julie. I wasn't able to attend full sessions (I was a little busy), so I appreciate it when attendees take the time to share what they learned. :-)

Susan Boyle has a great voice, if she only look good then she could have been a fast rising star. the music industry is also like showbiz, somehow you need to look good if you want to become famous fast.

Susan Boyle has a great voice, no doubt about that. She was my first choice in American Idol and sadly she did not make it.
